Oceanport is a borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey, covering approximately 3.8 square miles with a population of about 5,800, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. It is bordered by Eatontown, Long Branch, Little Silver, and the Shrewsbury River. Oceanport is home to Monmouth Park Racetrack, one of the leading thoroughbred horse racing venues in the country. The borough separated from Eatontown and was incorporated on April 6, 1920.
